A LITTLE EXTRA

Former research advisors
Postdoc advisor: Zhenan Bao, Chemical Engineering, Stanford University

Post-bac advisor: Ron Zuckermann, Biological Nanostructures, Molecular Foundry, LBNL
Undergraduate advisor: Tsu-Jae King Liu, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, UC Berkeley

Design
Good design has a powerful impact on our world (check out 99% PI).
I enjoy learning about how simple, functional, yet innovative designs are implemented in architecture, products, and service models. I hope to translate these concepts in my scientific work.

Art
I enjoy graphic design, interactive theater, and projection art (check out am-cb). For instance, all the research images on my website were collected during my time at Berkeley, Columbia, and Stanford. Some have been used in publications and some are simply beautiful mistakes.

Nature
Plants are incredible! I have over 30 species of plants in my home and I particularly like the Fabaceae family. I enjoy hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing (I am an aspiring snow-camper).
